Yoga Therapy
Are you navigating a chronic health condition, recovering from surgery, managing stress, burnout, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm?
Would you like to explore yoga as a supportive, personalised pathway
to greater health, resilience, and well-being?
Unlike a regular yoga class, Yoga Therapy is a personalised, evidence-informed approach that applies the principles and practices of yoga to support specific health concerns and individual goals. Following a comprehensive assessment of your physical, mental, emotional, and lifestyle needs, a personalised program aimed at setting realistic goals, manage symptoms, improve daily functioning, and support a more positive outlook on your health.
I’ll guide you through the process, with practices carefully chosen to suit your individual circumstances and complement any existing medical or allied health care. Sessions may include mindful movement, restorative practices, self-awareness through therapeutic breathing practices and meditation, and lifestyle recommendations.
Yoga Therapy is a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to guide and support your healing journey.
Offering 8 free group sessions as part of my practicum.

How Yoga Therapy Differs
Yoga Therapy shares similarities with physiotherapy, psychotherapy, rehabilitation, and other allied health approaches in that it seeks to improve function, resilience, and quality of life. However, its tools are rooted in the holistic traditions of yoga, recognizing the interconnected relationship between body, breath, mind, emotions, and lifestyle.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms,
Yoga Therapy addresses the whole person and encourages active participation in the healing process.
While Yoga Therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, it can be a valuable complementary approach that supports overall health and wellbeing alongside conventional healthcare.
